On the occasion of the celebrations of the Italian Republic Day on June 2, the traditional reception organized by the Italian Ambassador in Hungary, Massimo Rustico, was held on the evening of May 30 in venue of the Várkert Bazár in Budapest. The event opened with a call for a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the accident involving a ship full of tourists on the Danube, in the capital, on Wednesday, May 29.
Kedrion Biopharma attended the reception that, as every year, brought together over a thousand guests, including the most prominent personalities in the world of politics and in the economic and cultural life of the two countries. During the event, Gergely Gulyás, Minister of Prime Minister’s Office, and Massimo Rustico, the Italian Ambassador, recalled the deep roots and ties that unite Italy and Hungary and, together, reaffirmed the high level of cooperation and the strength of the economic and trade relations between the companies and institutions of the two States.
As evidence of Kedrion's long-standing presence in Hungary, where it has been operating for eleven years now, the company supported the event, which represents a valuable opportunity to continue to strengthen dialogue, cooperation and exchange activities with the representatives of the leading Hungarian and Italian companies that were invited.
